Bioinformatic Data and Pathway Analysis

Cellecta has partnered with Ariadne to offer a comprehensive Pathway Analysis service for downstream analysis of high-throughput (HT) RNAi genetic screen data. The computational validation of positive shRNA clones aims to find plausible signaling mechanisms connecting the effect of inhibition of siRNA target protein and observed phenotype. Searches against the comprehensive database of pathways and protein interactions are used to report:

  • The lists of pathways affected by each of the identified shRNA clones.
  • The common pathways, downstream events or upstream regulators for the sets of siRNAs.
  • Expression profiles for corresponding genes as available from the public datasets.
  • Similar biological effects of siRNA targets or other functionally related genes if known in the literature.

As an option, the analysis results can be delivered in a format compatible with the software package Pathway Studio® to enable additional analysis of pathways involved and integration with the prior knowledge and profiling data.
