Product Information

Cellecta’s Single-module Human Genome-Wide CRISPR Knockout Library was designed to be small enough (~80,000 constructs) to enable convenient genome-wide "dropout viability" screens with most standard human cell modules. With 4 sgRNAs targeting each gene, all of which have been designed using the criteria for effective guides described by Doench, et al. and containing the Cellecta-designed HEAT sgRNA tracrRNA structure which we have proven generates more robust screening results than the standard sgRNA design, the library has deep enough gene coverage to generate efficient results.

    • Single library with ~80,000 constructs targeting approximately 19,660 protein-coding genes
    • Each gene is targeted by 4 sgRNAs designed based on Doench, et al. criteria
    • All human protein-coding genes coverage—over 19,660 gene targets
    • This library can be obtained in the following vectors:
      • RFP and Puro (pRSG16-U6-sg-UbiC-TagRFP-2A-Puro vector)
      • GFP and Puro (pRSG17-U6-sg-UbiC-TagGFP2-2A-Puro vector)

If you are interested in more than 4 guides per gene, we offer a second Human Genome-Wide CRISPR Library (Knockout-B Library) which has an additional set of 4 guides per gene that do not overlap with the main library. Please contact us for more details.

    * Sequences are available in FASTA (.txt), GenBank (.gb), and SnapGene (.dna) formats. You may use the free SnapGene Viewer to open .dna files. If you would like vector files in another format, please contact us. To download .txt and .gb files, right click on the link and Save As.
