Abstract:

Spatial transcriptomics is a powerful technique for quantitation of gene expression within histopathology samples, such as heterogeneous areas of tumors, their adjacent microenvironment, or related inflammatory/immune cells. At Cellecta, we use the Nanostring GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) platform to provide simultaneous, highly multiplex spatial profiling of proteins or RNA in FFPE tissues. We will first review how the methodology works, and then use specific case studies to illustrate key considerations in experimental design, data collection and interpretation. The webinar will also highlight important benefits of the Cellecta spatial profiling service. These include expert pathologist consultation regarding sample preparation, as well as optimal selection of ‘regions of interest (ROIs)’ to best address investigators’ question(s). Similarly, we work with investigators to develop the most effective strategies for statistical analysis and data visualization.

A brief overview of Cellecta technologies will precede the presentation

Webinar highlights

1. Overview of spatial transcriptomic profiling using the Nanostring GeoMx platform

2. Key points in experimental design and data analysis

3. Strengths and limitations of the methodology

4. Benefits offered by the Cellecta spatial transcriptomic profiling service
